DAY 1 AIRPORT – HOTEL
Upon arrival at Kualanamu Airport Medan, Meeting with our Guide, then transfer to hotel. Free program for the rest of the day.
DAY 2 MEDAN – CITY TOUR (B,L,D)
After breakfast city tour visiting Sultan Palace, Grate Mosque, Chinese temple, Kesawan area (The old center of Medan town).
DAY 3 MEDAN – BUKIT LAWANG (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Bohorok on the way stop at Palm oil and rubber plantation, upon arrival at Bohorok check in to hotel.
DAY 4 BUKIT LAWANG- VISIT ORANG UTAN (B,L,D)
After breakfast walking to the jungle to see the Orang Utan by crossing the river with traditional canoe and then tracking to the feeding site to see the Orang Utan on their feeding time. After feeding time return back to hotel or jungle track for two hour in the jungle is optional (extra charge for clients who want to go jungle track)
DAY 5 BUKIT LAWANG – BRASTAGI (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Brastagi with stop at Sembahe river and Sukulikap waterfall and visit Batak Karo traditional village at Peceren, and fruit market, afternoon check in to hotel.
DAY 6 BRASTAGI – SAMOSIR (B,L,D)
After breakfast driver to Parapat via Japanese road with stop at Sipiso-piso waterfall, visit Rumah Bolon (Long house) the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and then continue the trip via nostalgia road to Pematang Siantar with passing tea plantation, arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry boat and arrival at Samosir check in to hotel.
DAY 7 SAMOSIR TOUR (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will have a choice for excursion on Samosir Island by Motor Bike or Car, the trip will visit to :
– Ambarita Village to see stone chair and table stone the execution and meeting place of Sialagan Kings.
– Simanindo to see Batak Toba traditional dance (Sigale-gale dance) and visit Batak Museum.
– Pangururan : To see hot water springs and nice view of Lake Toba.
- Tomok : To see the old grave of Sidabutar Kings.
During the excursion on Samosir island will see several Batak Toba village with the daily activities of local people.
After noon return back to hotel
DAY 8 SAMOSIR – SIPIROK (B,L,D)
After breakfast crossing back to Parapat and arrival at Parapat drive to Sipirok, on the way stop at Pineapple, clove, and coffee plantation and visiting traditional market at Balige, Sigur-gur to see the last view of Lake Toba and Sipoholon Hot Springs. Before arrival at Sipirok, enjoy the nature by walking at the bank of Sarulla river and passing fantastic view with rice terrace and jungle. Arrival at Sipirok check in to hotel.
DAY 9. SIPIROK – BUKITTINGGI (B,L,D)
Leave Sipirok for Bukittinggi by passing rain tropical forest of Rimba Panti and stop will be made to see the attraction of monkey picking up the coconut. Visit pepper, vanilla, cardamon and cinnamon garden, and crossing the equator line at Bonjol, afternoon arrival at Bukittinggi the charming towns of Minangkabau directly check in to hotel.
DAY 10 BUKITTINGGI MINANGKABAU TOUR (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Batusangkar via Pandai Sikat to see traditional hand weaving and wood carving, take a nice route via the village of Koto Baru with a nice view to the rice field and Singkarak Lake, on this day you will see the daily life of Minangkabau people daily life, arrival at Batusangkar drive to Pagaruyung to see duplicate of the Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom at Pagaruyung, afternoon drive back to Bukittinggi via Tabek Patah, on the way visit Minangkabau traditional village at Rao-Rao and traditional coffee milling with traditional weals water power. Arrival at Bukittinggi back to hotel.
DAY 11 BUKITTINGGI CITY TOUR – COOKING LESSON (B,L,D)
After breakfast city tour visiting Sianok canyon with its Japanese tunnel, fort De Kock, Museum, market with its Jam Gadang ”Big Ben Tower”. Then shopping for preparation of cooking lesson where you will experience what to buy and how is the transaction made at traditional market. After all of the material for cooking complete you will take to local people house where you will teach and experience how to cook Indonesia food and special Minangkabau traditional food. Dinner will provide at local people house with the all cooked during the lesson.
DAY 12 BUKITTINGGI – BANGKO (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Bangko, on the way passing Lake Singkarak, Sungai Dareh river, rain tropical forest and town of Muara Bungo. Arrival at Bangko check in to hotel.
DAY 13 VISITING KUBU PRIMITIVE TRIBE (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Bukit Dua Belas national park for about two hours drive and than tracking to the jungle to get in touch with the primitive Kubu Tribe, you will experience how is the primitive Kubu people living nomanden in the jungle, earn their food from the wild jungle such as hunting the animals, collect fruits from the jungle or fishing from the river.Afternoon return back to hotel.
DAY 14 BANGKO – LUBUK LINGGAU (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Lubuk Linggau via Surolangun, on the way stop at Surolangun river, witness the daily life of local people in their village, and visit traditional market, arrival at Lubuk Linggau check in to hotel.
DAY 15 LUBUK LINGGAU – BENGKULU (B,L,D)
After breakfast depart to Bengkulu, on the way visit curup village with it fresh weather and stop will be made in the jungle to see Raflesia Flower ( It is only possible when the flower blooming). Afternoon arrival at Bengkulu check in to hotel.
DAY 16 BENGKULU TOUR (B,L,D)
After breakfast city tour in Bengkulu visit the old Marlborough Fort, Panjang and Nala Beach, Soekarno House, market,museum, afternoon return back to hotel.
DAY 17 BENGKULU – LAHAT (B,L,D)
After breakfast leave Bengkulu for Lahat, on the way will visit Pagar Alam area , on the way stop at several traditional market, villages and plantation, arrival at Pagar Alam explore several megalith stones and nice view of Dempo mountain with its tea plantation and then drive to Lahat, arrival at lahat check in to hotel
DAY 18 LAHAT – PALEMBANG (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Palembang, on the way visit Bukit Selero where you will see the elephant training camp, it is also possible to experience Elephant riding to the river ( Optional), another stop will be made at Muara Enim and Prabumulih, where the area of the oil mining in South Sumatra ( The exploration of the oil already starting during dutch time). Afternoon arrival at Palembang check in to hotel.
DAY 19 PALEMBANG TOUR (B,L,D)

Day 1
Arrive in Medan ,We will fetch you from the airport and transfer to hotel Tiara or Best Western, located in the centre of Medan for overnight stay. Here you can rest after long journey, swim or walk in the nearby area.
Day 2
Medan – City tour – Bohorok/Bukit Lawang. In the morning you can do city tour in Medan. You can visit the beautiful mix architectures of Maimoon palace built in 1888 by the Sultan of Deli (former name of Medan) Sultan Mahmood Al Rashid. Then a visit to Grand Mosque “Mesjid Raya” built in 1906 where you can see its interesting ornaments, to Chinese and Hindu temples. As one of the most important cities during Dutch colonial time, you can see also colonial architectural touch in building likes: the Post office, the old City Hall, Central bank, etc. Before we depart to Bohorok we will make a short visit to Asam Kumbang crocodile farm. Here you can see crocodiles from different sizes and ages. In the afternoon we proceed to Bohorok/Bukit Lawang, the orangutans rehabilitation centre. The journey leads you past the scenic rubber and palm oil plantations. Overnight stay in Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages, located directly on the bank of Bohorok river.
Day 3
Bohorok – see the Sumatran orangutans at the feeding area. After breakfast, we will walk for around 45 minutes at the side of Bohorok river to the orangutans feeding area. Prior to arrival at rehabilitation centre you have to cross the river by small wooden canoe. Then do a short climbing through the tropical rainforest at the slope of Mt. Leuser. Watching the part ranger feeds the orangutans. It is suggested to have comfortable sportive shoes. On your way back to hotel, enjoy picnic lunch with jungle bath (optional) at Elephant stone. The rest of the day free at your own program. Overnight stay in Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages.
Day 4
Bohorok – Brastagi. After breakfast we depart to Brastagi via Medan. Brastagi is a mountain resort in the Karo Highland that surroundings with 2 active volcanoes, Sibayak and Sinabung. Before we arrive in hotel, you can also make a stop at fruits market. Overnight stay in hotel Brastagi Cottages in Brastagi.
Day 5
Brastagi – Samosir island. In the morning you will visit Dokan, a traditional Batak Karonese village. Here you can observe traditional houses of the tribe and the daily activities of the villagers. After that depart to Lake Toba. En route we can stops at the Sipiso piso waterfall with its splendid view over the lake Toba and restored Royal Palace of King Purba at Pematang Purba. You can also make couple stops at pineapple, ginger and coffee plantations that belong to the local farmers. In the afternoon you will arrive in Parapat at the lake Toba, from where you embark the ferry to cross the lake to Samosir island. Overnight stay in hotel Carolina or Toledo Inn on Samosir island in the middle of lake Toba. Your room has beautiful view directly on the lake side.
Day 6
Samosir – tour on this island. After breakfast we will make excursion to several Batak Toba villages on this island. First we visit Simanindo village where you can see a performance of traditional Batak Toba dances, then to Ambarita village where you can hear the interesting legend of it’s megalithic cultural objects and finally to the noble cemetery of King Sidabutar in Tomok. During the excursion you will have a chance to walk and see the way of life of the local Batak Toba tribe. Overnight stay in hotel Carolina or Toledo Inn on Samosir island in the middle of lake Toba. Your room has beautiful view directly on the lake side.
Day 7
Samosir island – Padang Sidempuan. After breakfast we cross the lake back to Parapat. Drive along the southern shores of lake Toba with its lovely ricefields and huge Batak’s graves. On the way you can make a stop at the traditional hand weaving village of Jangga Toru. Here local women make Ulos cloth still in traditional way. At noon we will arrive in Tarutung, centre of the Protestant Batak church. Thereafter we continue driving through the Bukit Barisan mountanical ridge until Padang Sidempuan. Overnight stay in hotel Natama in Padang Sidempuan.
Day 8
Padang Sidempuan – Bukittinggi. The route to Bukittinggi in the Minangkabau Highlands bring you again right through the Bukit Barisan mountainical ridge of Sumatra. It is an remarkable tour in which you will drive through the road bordered on both sides by wall of impenetrable tropical rain forest with up and down windy route. En route you can stop at a nature reserve called Rimbo Panti for observing the charming flora and fauna and herbarium. Bonjol with its equator monument. Don’t forget! you just passed through the equator line. Late in the afternoon you will arrive in Bukittinggi in the heart of Minangkabau highlands. Overnight stay in hotel Denai in Bukittinggi.
Day 9
Bukittinggi – city tour. Today we will make a sight seeing in Bukittinggi. Starting with “Fort de Kock fortress”, situated on a strategic point of Bukittinggi. Then to the famous “Ngarai Sianok”, Japanese cave, museum, the colorful market and the hand weaving village of Pandai Sikat. Afternoon free at your own program to scroll this pleasant and cool city of Bukittinggi. Overnight stay in hotel Denai in Bukittinggi.
Day 10
Bukittinggi. Full day tour to the natural and cultural objects such as: Tabek Patah with its beautiful Panorama, Sungai Tarab a unique village with traditional coffee mills with turbine generated by flowing water, Batusangkar is considered the centre of Minangkabau culture that has some historical remains of stone tablets with ancient Hindu scrip, Pagaruyung is the cultural highlight of the visit with its Buffalo horn shape beautiful Minangkabau palace. Balimbing village that still has some old houses dated back to couple centuries ago. On your return to Bukittinggi, make a stop at the coast of Lake Singkarak. Overnight stay in hotel Denai in Bukittinggi.
Day 11
Bukittinggi – Lake Maninjau. After breakfast we leave Bukittinggi to Koto Gadang the silver village of West Sumatra province. From Koto Gadang, we continue the tour to Embun pagi, a place to enjoy the fresh air mist and beautiful view over Lake Maninjau surrounded by green hills. You can also make a stop at Lawang village famous for its sugar cane products. The processing of sugar cane is still in traditional way. After that we descend to the lake Maninjau passing its 44 curves. Lake Maninjau is one of the most treasured and worth while place to visit in West Sumatra. The rest of the day free at your own leisure. You can walk to the surrounding areas, rest or swim in this beautiful calm and clean lake. Overnight stay in a simple accommodation on shore of lake Maninjau, named hotel Pasir Panjang Permai. Your room has beautiful view to the lake.
Day 12
Maninjau – Sikuai island. Today we depart to Padang, the capital city of West Sumatra province. Padang is well known for its spicy cuisine that you should not miss to try. Route to Padang you can stop at Anai valley and Anai waterfall. Upon arrival in Padang we proceed to the harbor for your departure to Sikuai island, around 30 minutes by boat from harbor of Padang. Here you will stay for 2 nights in a beach resort named hotel Sikuai as the closing of your tour.
Day 13
Sikuai island. Free at your own leisue to enjoy the exotic beach of Sikuai island. A perfect place to relax, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling or diving. The choice is yours.
Day 14

Today you will approaching deeper to the jungle into wild orangutan territory. There will take 5 or 6 hours trekking through the jungle to reach the first night’s camp. On the way you will cross a river and can dip your body here for a while to enjoy fresh water.

Hike around the riverside and trek leads through primary rainforest to hot spring. Wildlife viewing includes primates such as leaf monkeys, Macaque, Gibbons, Siamang, Orang Utan, and abundant bird watching.

Pack up camp in the morning and begin the day’s trekking. The biodiversity of Gunung Leuser National Park is breathtaking with approximately 700 different species of animals (320 birds, 176 mammals and 194 reptiles and amphibians) living in this region.

Arrive in the morning at Muara SIberut, prepare some stuff to departure by speedboat. The river’s water draught is quite limited. When the water level is very low, we may ask our guests to get off and walk up the riverbed. About noon, we arrive at the departure point of the trek, where we meet our porters. According the time of arrival, we may take a rather easy path, but usually very muddy, for a 4 to 6 -hour walk.

Day 7 FROM MENTAWAI CLAN – BACK TO MUARA SIBERUT
Hike back to the river (4 to 6 hours). Then the speedboat ride back to Muara Siberut in 4 to 6 hours. Dinner at night in a simple guest house, with shared bathroom, at Muara Siberut.
Day 8 MUARA SIBERUT – MASILOK BEACH PADANG
After breakfast, we will go to the nice beach Masilok with white sand beach, from the river across the mangrove, in this beach you can do snorkeling, swimming sun bathing while relaxs, according the ferry time, we will transfer back to Muara Siberut to depart to Padang, sleep on ferry, arrive Padang the next day.
Day 9 PADANG ARRIVAL – FLY TO JAKARTA – BACK HOME – ENDED
If the ferry is no delay, we could arrival at Morning time in padang, then waiting for your flight to Jakarta or any international departures.

Upon arrival at Minangkabau Int airport Padang, pick up by our guide and then drive to Bukittinggi by passing Anay Valley, on the way stop at Kiambang snd Pandai Sikat Village to see traditional hand carving and weaving, arrival at Bukittinggi check in to Hotel.
DAY 2 BUKITTINGGI – KERSIK TUO (B, L, D)
After breakfast drive to Kersik Tuo via Muara labuh, on the way stop at Lake Diatas and Lake Dibawah and passing several MinangKabau Village. Visiting Telun Berasap Waterfall and passing tea plantation at Kayu Aro and arrival at Sei Penuh , the area of Kerinci Seblat National Park check in to simple guest house.
DAY 3 LAKE GUNUNG TUJUH TREKKING (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer by bus to Lake Mount seven National Park for about 1 hours. Lake Danau Tujuh is a huge-mysterious lake on 1.995 m above sea level and surrounded by primary rainforest and 7 hills. Lunch will be served on the side of the lake. The pristine area around the lake is known as the habitat of Sumatran Tigers, Sumatran Elephants, Primates, endemic birds of Sumatra as well as research area for the “small man” who live in the jungle around the lake. Most of the day is spent by trekking and explore the surrounding in search for animals, birds and exotic plants.
DAY 4 KERINCI SEBLAT – ENJOYING THE ATMOSPHERE (B,L,D)
After breakfast and easy day to enjoy the atmosphere around the area of Kerinci Seblat National park, tour can be made to Kayu Aro Tea plantation, explore the river around and witness the activities of local people.
DAY 05.KERSIK TUO – BANGKO (B,L,D)
After breakfast visiting Semurup Hot Spring, Old Historical Mosque with its Giant Drum and Lake Kerinci, then drive to Bangko on the way passing rain tropical forest with its flora and fauna. Stop will be made at several interesting places and arrival at Bangko check in to hotel.
DAY 7 EXPLORE KUBU PRIMITIVE TRIBE (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive around 2 hours to the village near the jungle then walking to the jungle to explore where the nomadic Kubu people live and witness their daily activity and its traditional and culture, picnic lunch box provide and afternoon return back to hotel.
DAY 7 BANGKO – PADANG (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Padangi via Trans Sumatra highway ant with stop at Muara Bungo, Singkarak Lake and passing several interesting places, arrival in Padang directly check in to hotel.
DAY 08 HOTEL – AIRPORT (B)
After breakfats drive to Padang via Anay valley with stop at Anay Waterfall and arrival at Padang transfer to airport for your next destination.
